Meadowlands Family Health Center encompasses many aspects of family healthcare including general medicine, registered nurse programs, therapy and urgent care. The clinic is open 7 days a week to help support the community.

The role of clinic manager is crucial to the success and operation of the Meadowlands Family Health Center. This role supports and oversees every aspect of the clinic and its daily operations; including but not limited to: Human Resources, clinic maintenance, physician schedules, workflow management of employees, EMR maintenance, patient, staff and physician challenges etc.. the list continues

**What your day-to-day looks like**:
The clinic manager is a crucial role within the clinic ensuring that it runs smoothly. On a daily basis, the clinic manager will be responsible for addressing last minute staffing concerns, OHIP billing, addressing 3rd party requests for information and billing, and supporting all staff as needed. In addition, when needed this person will be responsible for answering patient calls and addressing urgent operational issues.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Financial Duties: OHIP billing and Reconciliation, Quick books, Banking etc
- Oversee EMR, updates, 3rd program additions etc.
- Oversee Employee Benefit Program
- Providing effective problem solving and conflict resolution as required
- Attending monthly physician meetings
- Coordinating clinic maintenance as needed
- Oversee Occupational Health and Safety
- HR duties-Recruitment, training, and performance management of the team members
- Address and manage patient complaints and/or issues.
- Organize clinic events.
- Administering, monitoring, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures
- Act as privacy delegate for Privacy Officer
- Provide back up support for Front Desk Manager as needed

**Qualifications**:

- OHIP billing/reconciliation experience
- Knowledge of quickbooks
- Knowledge of Ministry of Labour Laws and Occupational Health & Safety
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records
- 5+ years working in healthcare operations
- Strong organizational & facilitation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to consider current processes and foresee potential obstacles to service implementation
- Passion for continual growth and development in a fast-paced environment
- High comfort level with IT
- Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
