Young Rembrandts is a national award-winning after school drawing program. Our innovative step-by-step process teaches children basic drawing techniques. The curriculum encourages children to express their imaginations while improving motor skills, patience, focus, and ability to stay on task.

Young Rembrandts offers classes in public and private elementary schools at the end of regular school day, as well as in community centres and preschools. Young Rembrandts Instructors should be available to teach 2 to 3 classes in the afternoon each week for the duration of the session (session are 6-12 weeks each). Instructors are assigned to specific schools and stay with the same schools and days of the week for the session, and preferably through the school year.

Job requirements:

- Mature and highly dependable, on-time and commitment a MUST
- Experience leading groups of children
- A reliable transportation
- Must be available in the afternoons on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays
- Criminal background check
- Must be able to setup/take down chairs and tables when required
- Must be able to stand for an hour

NOTES:

- This is a very light part-time position, teach 2-3 classes per week.
- Compensation: $48 per class.
- Each class lasts about 1h, but setup and cleanup is also included in the class pay rate.
- Currently hiring for fall session (starts late Sept. or early Oct.). Training in mid September.
- Paid training is provided.
- Lesson plans and supplies are provided.
