Located on Victoria’s beautiful inner harbour, Hotel Grand Pacific is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead operations in its Fathom Restaurant.

With a modern dining space, stunning lounge and bar, and gorgeous new pergola, Fathom is admired for its incredible menu, large whisky selection, and excellent service.

Hours of work will vary between mornings, evenings, and weekends.

**Duties**:

- Assist with management of a full-service restaurant, lounge, and terrace
- Monitor food & beverage items for quality
- Implement service standards and oversee shift responsibilities of service staff
- Train and coach new servers on expected standards
- Ensure guest concerns are resolved and exceptional guest satisfaction maintained
- Support the Manager with administrative tasks when required (scheduling, payroll submissions, etc.)

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 2 years of supervisor experience in an upscale restaurant
- Food Safe and Serving It Right Certificates required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a hands-on approach to management
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Professional attitude with demonstrated conflict resolution skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Full comprehension of function sheets
- Proficiency with Squirrel
- Proficient in MS Office suites
- Comfortable working flexible hours

Pay: $58,500.00 per year
