**Duties**:
You would be responsible for performing a variety of medical secretarial duties to physicians and other members of the clinic as assigned, including tasks such as:

- scheduling and confirming patient appointments;
- registering patients on arrival and updating demographic information;
- answering phone calls and electronic messages;
- linking and faxing documents;
- preparing and cleaning rooms and equipment for examinations and procedures;
- opening and closing the clinic as required.

**Qualifications**
- MOA diploma is not required but would be an asset
- Working experience as an MOA would be an asset
- Experience with an EMR would be an asset (in particular Wolf EMR)
- Resourceful, fast learner and detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent customer service, problem solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of a second language would be an asset (in particular Cantonese and/or Mandarin, due to the patient population).

Under the current BC health guidelines, all health-care workers (which includes MOAs) are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID19. Medical masks must also be worn at all times by staff in healthcare facilities (except when eating and drinking).
