Who you are?
You are a motivated and dependable operator with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to teamwork, safety, and service excellence. You take initiative, communicate clearly, and thrive in a role that balances field work with leadership responsibility.
- Your qualifications include:_-
- High school diploma or equivalent (a related diploma or certificate from an accredited institution is an asset).- 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent work history in utility operations.- Working knowledge of WHMIS, OH&S standards, and First Aid.- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Geomatic Information Systems (GIS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.- Class 5 Driver’s License (a satisfactory driver’s abstract will be required).
What we Offer?

- Work with a supportive and experienced team that takes pride in delivering safe, reliable water and wastewater services to the community.- Competitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, and wellness coverage, along with a healthcare spending account.- Professional development opportunities, including technical training, certifications, and skill-building relevant to municipal utilities and operations.- Free annual pass to City of Leduc recreation facilities, including access to fitness amenities and drop-in programs.- Time off and flexibility to support work-life balance, including vacation starting at three weeks per year.
