**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Customs Compliance & Documentation**
- Prepare and review all required customs documents for import and export shipments (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, etc.).
- Ensure classification of goods under correct HS (Harmonized System) codes.
- Verify accuracy of declared values, product descriptions, and other compliance details.

**2. Coordination & Communication**
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, transport companies, and government agencies.
- Maintain constant communication with internal departments (procurement, warehouse, sales) to align shipment schedules and requirements.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or clearance issues.

**3. Regulatory Knowledge & Updates**
- Keep up to date with changes in customs laws, tariffs, and international trade agreements.
- Advise management and relevant departments on changes affecting shipping processes.

**4. Reporting & Recordkeeping**
- Maintain accurate, organized records for all customs transactions.
- Generate regular reports on customs clearance timelines, costs, and compliance performance.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in customs clearance or logistics coordination (transport sector preferred).
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/trade management software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling.

Pay: Up to $35.51 per hour
