**Position: Maintenance Manager**

**Department: Operations**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our group of companies. As a shared service for both companies, this role will be responsible for leading the maintenance team in managing the maintenance function for our wood and steel manufacturing plants as well as our office building

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and physical assets of the companies, including Equipment, machinery, property, facilities, and buildings
- Manage maintenance budget and support in capital planning activities
- Lead, train, and develop maintenance team members
- Manage the work order process effectively, both preventative and reactive maintenance
- Develop and ensure a critical parts inventory for key pieces of equipment
- Adopt processes and procedures as best practices to increase efficiency and reduce downtime within the facilities
- Prioritize work across a shared services team, managing work load according to team member skill set
- Manage and coordinate contractors & subcontractors for work unable to be completed internally
- Ensure availability of tools and equipment

**Qualifications**
- Journeyman Millwright or other applicable trade, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in a maintenance department role in manufacturing facilities
- 3-5 years in a leadership role (foreman, supervisor, manager)
- Experience managing capital expenditures, capital planning budgets
- PM program experience & work order management experience

Lean Training an asset (white belt, green)
