Arborist

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assess the health and condition of trees through visual inspections and diagnostic tools.
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal as necessary to promote healthy growth and safety.
- Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely while performing tree maintenance tasks.
- Utilize GIS technology to map tree locations and manage data related to tree health and maintenance schedules.
- Implement landscape maintenance practices that enhance the aesthetic value of properties while ensuring ecological balance.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute tree care projects efficiently.
- Educate clients on proper tree care techniques and recommend services based on their specific needs.

**Skills**
- Proficient in operating bucket trucks, rigs, and other arboricultural equipment.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including soil management, pest control, and irrigation systems.
- Familiarity with GIS technology for effective data management related to tree care.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights safely during tree operations.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and teamwork.
- A background in gardening or horticulture is a plus, enhancing your understanding of plant care.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
