The HR Generalist role supports, implements, and executes all tactical aspects of the HR function for a designated client group (primarily our Brampton site and our Canadian employees, but also regional US employees). Responsibilities include but are not limited to DB & DC pension administration, employee relations, employee engagement, total rewards (compensation, benefits, immigration & relocation); talent acquisition (recruiting, new hire on-boarding, orientation), talent management (succession planning, performance management & development), diversity & inclusion programs coordination, employee life cycle management, process improvement and documentation, and goodwill initiatives.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIIBLITIES**:
- Management of HR files (primarily electronic)
- Payment of all HR related invoices
- DB & DC pension administration and support
- Management of LOAs on the HRIS system
- Assistance with HR related audits and compliance
- Recruitment for Brampton supply chain roles
- Policy updates, process improvements & process documentation
- Supporting local management with various company initiatives
- This role requires regular on-site presence to support our manufacturing facility.
- Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in HR or related field required
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience within HR, preferably in a manufacturing facility and/or large corporation
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak fluent English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Computer literacy with MS Suite, Excel, Word, HRIS, and other systems
- Ability to learn, work and problem-solve independently with mínimal support
- Process improvement and documentation skills
- Demonstrated follow-through, time management, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Solid business acumen
- High attention to detail
