Sales Consultant, Private Client

**About the role**
As an integral part of our Personal Insurance department, our Private Client team is dedicated to providing customized insurance and risk management solutions to our private clients and their families.
**Key responsibilities**
- Actively prospect new clients and look for new business opportunities through various channels, including internal referrals from other lines of business within the company
- Perform frontline underwriting to identify risk exposures and counsel prospects on the most suitable coverage selections
- Provide timely and professional services to prospective clients
- Respond to new business requests
- Build external referral sources
- Attend industry events to open doors and drive new business opportunities
**Qualifications**
- RIBO License or ability to obtain
- Previous insurance and sales experience
- Exceptional relationship-builder and networker with strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet production targets.
- CAIB or CIP designation (or working towards designation) would be an asset.
