We are looking for an exceptional **Career Services Coordinator **to join our student success department.

**Duties**
- Interview students/alumni to obtain employment history, educational background and career goals, employment interest, and capture all data in student CRM.
- Identify barriers to employment and assist students/alumni with such matters as job readiness, skills, job search strategies, writing résumés and preparing for job interviews.
- Provide career education and counselling to students/alumni.
- Administer and interpret tests designed to determine the interests, aptitudes, and abilities of students/alumni.
- Gather and maintain labour market information for students/alumni regarding job openings, entry and skill requirements and other occupational information such as staffing requirements in selected industries.
- Maintain strong contracts and liaise with businesses and industries concerning current and upcoming employment/work placement opportunities.
- Establish and promote Computek College’s Career Centre to community groups and agencies, business, and industry, and to other organizations involved in providing career planning resources and/or employment opportunities.
- Advise students/alumni on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of employment.
- Provide advice to students/alumni on industry employment requirements including employment law standards, etc.
- Complete administrative functions to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Career Centre.
- Host regular in campus workshops related to career services
- Upon graduation, obtain student testimonials from those who secure employment with consent to publish.
- Conduct mock interviews

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma. Preferred: Human Resources or Social Services.
- Several years of related experience in a similar role or performing comparable duties
- Experience in training and conducting workshops
- Experience in coaching or career development skills an asset
- Able to promote products or services
- Proficiency working with Microsoft office
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
