Distinguished faculty and entertainment industry professionals shape Triple Threat skills of dancing, acting, and singing in an accredited college program.

**TITLE**:Student Services Coordinator

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:The role of the Student Services Coordinator will be responsible for the development and delivery of programs and services to assist students in areas of skill development, knowledge acquisition, and experiential learning for the purpose of achieving program success and enhancing the student experience. Builds strategic alliances with faculty, staff, student groups, and the greater community to create a culture of collaboration and partnership in ensuring student success.

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIP**:Reports to Senior Leadership.

**EMPLOYMENT TYPE**:Full-Time (40 hours/week) permanent position, with paid vacation and sick days.

**COMPENSATION**: $35,000 - $45,000 based on experience.

**WORK WEEK**:This position requires on-site working hours for a total of 40 hours per week within the usual hours of 9:00am-5:00pm. Some evening work may be required on occasion.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Post-secondary education, minimum of a Certificate or Diploma equivalence
- Minimum of 2-years' work experience working in a similar role
- A background in education and student services with experience in accessibility within an educational context is preferred
- Basic knowledge of the Private Career College system
- Experience with course management systems (e.g., Classe365)
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and effective communicator
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Superior teamwork capabilities
- Excellent client service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and cordiality when working with others
- Exceptional work ethic with the ability to initiate and remain on task without supervision
- Ability to multitask and effectively handle multiple deadlines and projects
- Capacity to provide accurate assistance, information, and instructions to students and staff in a helpful, friendly, and professional manner
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

**GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Establish college practices and provide new and continuing students with excellent student service with an overall interest in the promotion of student success and retention in accordance with the mission, core values, and purpose of the College
- Be the primary point of contact with the student, responsible for addressing student issues and complaints as they arise
- Ability to deal calmly, professionally, and confidently with a range of presenting concerns
- Provide confidential guidance and support to the student body
- Responsible for the creation and implementation of Academic Accommodations
- Demonstrated knowledge of secondary and post-secondary academic records and supporting documents
- Design and deliver workshops and presentations based on research, sound methodology and an understanding of student experiences and needs in response to faculty and student requests
- Develop an effective and efficient program delivery strategy such as student-based models, seminars, workshops, and online resources that serve to optimize resources and service capacity
- Liaise with Faculty and administration to identify students in need of support and connect students to the Student Wellness Counsellor
- Cultivate and maintain relationships within the college and build partnerships with community stakeholders
- Initiate collaborations and partnerships using a collaborative model in support of an integrated approach to providing services and promoting a shared approach for student success
