**Your opportunity**:
Working under the direction of the Director, Administration and the Assistant Directors, International Programs, the Student Services Coordinator supports the planning and implementation of a wide range of programs designed to promote the active engagement of students (high school and undergraduate) in the International Programs Office at New College. The Student Services Coordinator works closely with the Student Services Assistants to promote community development, academic success and personal growth of students. The incumbent will also be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of camp activities to support the efficient and effective delivery of the continuum of camp programming and staffing (casual camp counsellors) to ensure effective and consistent delivery of programs as well as the annual evaluation of the programming. The incumbent will provide excellent customer service and ensure an inclusive and safe environment for the camp counsellors and camp participants.

As a member of the New College International Programs Office, the Student Services Coordinator, International Programs, will be committed to an equity that recognizes, supports, and responds to the diverse histories, lived and marginalized experiences of international students and many communities.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Conceptualizing, organizing and executing program activities
- Determining logístical details and activities for events and/or programming
- Fostering cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external contacts
- Assessing and revising processes that support administrative activities and objectives
- Conducting post-event evaluation, analysis and recommendations for changes
- Advising student groups on the development of clubs and societies
- Directing the activities of casual staff
- Directing the activities of a single ongoing staff-appointed employee

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum two years of recent and related experience administering student life activities to support international language learners, preferably in a post-secondary education institution.
- Experience with student-focused event planning, promotion, and execution.; Experience supporting the development of co-curricular activities and administering leadership and mentorship programs.
- Experience working with and providing support to high school-aged, university-aged, and mature international students.
- Demonstrated skills and ability to provide effective guidance and advice to students, student leaders and organizations in a responsive, empathetic, thoughtful, and discreet manner.
- Demonstrated time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and organize work, and meet tight deadlines while able to pay attention to detail.; Demonstrated strong student and client service orientation and experience fostering equity, diversity and inclusion ina language-learning environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience writing content for and maintaining websites, and updating information on social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Experience using StarRez to place students into residence; making reservations, group bookings, and room changes.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).; Experience recording and collecting data, and producing standard reports.

**Assets (Nonessential)**:

- Professional working proficiency in a different language or languages other than English.
- Knowledge and/or experience of New College and its programs.
- Knowledge and/or experience with policies and procedures at the Faculty of Arts and Science.
- Experience with summer camps, ESL learning, and enrichment programs.
