**Wilco Contractors Southwest Inc.** is hiring experienced **Civil Construction Forepersons for our busy 2025 season ahead.**

**Duties and Responsibilities;**
- Being hands-on in field construction/directly involved in all aspects including planning, production, quantity, deadlines, and safety.
- Communicating with your Project Manager for upcoming needs for materials, manpower and equipment.
- Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans.
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure subcontractors compliance with specifications and timelines for their scope of work.
- Assist in the resolution of design issues, change requests, material defects and equipment problems.
- Control and monitor labour, equipment, and materials throughout each project and site to completion.
- Manage all project administration activities including payroll, timekeeping, labor coding, equipment coding, purchase order coding and safety reporting.

**Qualifications and Requirements;**
- **3+ years experience as a Construction**/Earthworks or Civil foreperson.**:

- 2+ years experience with Operating Heavy Equipment and Truck/Trailer.
- Must have extensive Road Construction/Removal experience
- Must be able to lead and supervise a team of 5-10 people minimum, or multiple crews at a time.
- Class 5 license and clean driving record
- Fluent with reading and interpreting Blueprints
- Must possess strong leadership/mentorship and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and execute plans, read grade stakes and use laser level.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Promote a positive team culture across all departments and job sites with a focus on safety first and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid safety tickets and a clean drivers abstract.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7-9 months

Pay: $39.00-$40.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Foreman: 3 years (required)
- Operating: 3 years (preferred)
- Civil Construction: 3 years (preferred)
- Blueprint reading: 3 years (required)
- Supervising: 3 years (required)
- Truck & Trailer: 3 years (required)
- Earthworks: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
