**Job purpose**
The primary role of this individual is to ensure all dock activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner. This position also needs to be familiar with warehouse service role.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

- Complete all receiving of inbound deliveries. Input receipts into system in timely manner. Verify counts, lot numbers, COA’s and inspect for damage. Note any discrepancies on bills of lading and alert proper personnel. Recording delivery into receiving log. Tag materials with correct product and lot information.
- Load all product to be sent to warehouse. Ensure pallets are scanned, and information is correct. Generate packing slip for each load.
- Load all packaging and ingredients to be returned to warehouse. Ensure pallets are all tagged and properly wrapped for transport. Generate packing slip for each load.
- Unload warehouse transfers and verify items and quantities to packing slip. Advise of any discrepancies so system can be corrected.
- Repalletize damaged products.
- Safe operation of forklifts. Weekly cleaning and washing of forklift. Any spills to be cleaned immediately and machine left clean and safe for next driver. Check water levels of batteries on daily basis with pre-op check list.
- General warehouse cleaning, sweeping floors, trailers, storage and dock areas.
- Assist in cycle counts and monthly inventory counts.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Must be able to follow written and verbal communication. The individual must have a basic understanding of the English language to ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures, Incoming and outgoing paperwork followed and recorded accurately.
- Moderate use of a computer is required. (Training provided)
- Able to work in fast paced environment.
- Great attention to detail with accuracy, organized, performing basic math functions.
- Good communication skills, oral and written.
- Working in team environment.
- Valid Forklift License

**Working conditions**
- May be exposed to hot and cold temperatures when loading/unloading trailers.
- Usually wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, and beard nets.
- Straight shift work, with overtime coverage as needed.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasional work outdoors for bulk delivery hookup and inspections.

**Physical requirements**
- Must be able to lift bagged ingredients and or other items with a weight of ~40kg if items need to be transferred or palletized.
- Other lifting and bending will be required throughout the individual’s shift.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Able to work in hot/cold temperatures.
- Able to work with scanners and computers.
