**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

The purpose of this position is to plan, schedule, and ensure that all Shipping and Receiving activities align to meet customer-required delivery dates at Allcard Limited. The incumbent will report to the Materials Supervisor.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Inspect products received for defects and damages and fill out receiving report with carrier and escalate to appropriate Manager
- Examine outgoing shipments ensuring accuracy that packing slip contents matches shipment
- Organize warehouse space allowing for components to be put into racking
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately, ensuring that the production floor space is not burdened with received materials
- Stage materials for machines on warehouse floor in a timely manner
- Check, verify and fill all outbound packing slips
- Schedule all shipments with selected Transport Company
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize shipping and warehousing procedures
- Drive and pickup materials between warehouses in Cambridge and Concord, as well as other locations in the area using a cargo truck or van

**KEY KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- Current valid forklift license
- Current valid G License with clean driving record
- Proven work experience as a warehouse worker/shipper receiver
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Communication skills both verbally and written
- Computer literate including ability to use Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to work in team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
