**The Opportunity (Onsite/Hybrid - Toronto, Ontario, Canada)**

Carbon6 is looking for a **People & Office Coordinator** to play a vital supporting role in People initiatives and day-to-day office operations. In this role, you’ll assist in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensure that both employees and office needs are met efficiently and professionally.

This onsite/hybrid role, **requiring at least 3-4 days** in-office each week, is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. Reporting directly to the **Senior People Business Partner**, you'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence while creating an efficient and welcoming workplace.

**Your Impact**:

- ** First line support for employees**: As the initial point of contact, you will provide end-to-end support throughout the employee lifecycle, including on-boarding, addressing employee inquiries, employee relations, and off-boarding. You will ensure employees receive timely and accurate assistance, fostering a positive employee experience.
- ** Support new and on-going initiatives**:Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies, procedures, and ad-hoc projects that align with our company goals. You will play a key role in supporting the rollout of initiatives and ensuring employees are well-informed about HR efforts. You excel at helping move ideas through to implementation and contributing to the success at scale.
- ** Benefits administration**: Ensure team members receive timely enrollment, clear communication, and seamless administration of benefits for Canadian and US employees.
- ** Employee engagement and communication**:Support employee engagement efforts, such as weekly all-hands meetings, recognition programs, employee surveys, and training for employees and leadership. Identify key themes from feedback to focus on areas that drive the greatest impact. Ensure the entire organization stays informed by creating and sharing clear, company-wide communications.
- ** HR administration and HRIS management**:Take full ownership of HR administration by maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (Hibob). Ensure all information is current and organized, allowing operations to run smoothly. You will collaborate with the finance team to ensure all pay changes and adjustments are processed on a semi-monthly basis. You'll take pride in knowing that every detail is accounted for and nothing slips through the cracks.
- ** Legal compliance**: Stay up to date with relevant labour laws and regulations, collaborating with HR management to ensure the organization remains compliant. You’ll support the identification of required actions and assist in implementing steps to align with legal requirements.
- ** Supporting data insights**: Assist with building reports and conducting basic data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement. Support the measurement of employee programs’ effectiveness and help gather both qualitative and quantitative insights from various areas of our operations. Your work will help guide focus on the right priorities.
- ** In-office support**: Play a key role in shaping and enhancing the in-office culture of our Toronto HQ, supporting in-person events, social activities, and fostering a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Manage office operations, i
