We are seeking a **Facilities Coordinator **to join our team in **Toronto, ON** or **Mississauga ON**
The facilities coordinator demonstrates value & expertise responding to service demands without compromising the overall operational effectiveness of the services provided. Identifies Maintenance requirements and coordinates the Facilities Management Group (FMG) resources necessary to meet the operations needs.
**The **Facilities Coordinator **will**:
- Supervise weekly routine and preventative maintenance for facilities and grounds, such as cleaning, painting, repairs, replacements, and furniture.
- Assist the Regional Facilities Manager Ontario to schedule facilities repairs and maintenance
- Assist Regional Facilities Manager Ontario with safety inspections, chemical logbooks, fire and sprinkler inspections.
- Assist the Regional Facilities Manager Ontario to coordinate office moves through the implemented space and facilities management software
- Become a member of the Joint Health and Safety committee (JHSC)
- Respond to and handle emergency maintenance / security and alarm calls promptly including after hours as required
- Work with contractors on weekends when work cannot be done during office hours and managing access to the building
- Back up to Regional Facilities Manager Ontario for access to the Office
- Serve as liaison with outside contractors engaged in special projects.
- Report utilities usage to the Regional Facilities Manager for all People Corporation Ontario sites
- Identify and recommend property maintenance and equipment programs to Regional Facilities Manager Ontario
- Assist with supervising and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including property managers, landlords, project managers, and consultants
- Assist the Regional Facilities Manager Ontario with PC's storage space at offsite locations
- Assist with supervision of building projects, renovations, or refurbishments, communicate with staff, contractors, suppliers to inform them of plans and ensure any ongoing projects remain on task.
- Assist in keeping kitchens, production rooms, and conference rooms neat and stocked with appropriate supplies
- Install whiteboards, pictures, etc. around offices as required
- Travel is required between multiple Ontario regional sites
**T**o be successful **as a **Facilities Coordinator **with People Corporation, you will need**:
- Strong prioritization skills; proven ability to be successful in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail, high organizational multi-tasking and coordination skills
- The ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including some weekends and evenings
**- Experience using a hoteling software e.g iOffice
- Experience using AutoCAD software
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
