Pride Group Logistics is a dynamic and rapidly growing transportation and logistics company. We are an asset-based company with a growing 3PL/Brokerage division.

This is a full-time Afternoon position. **The location is to be set in **Mississauga Ontario.**

**Role and **Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining fair and equitable distribution of work amongst your team.
- Maintaining amongst your team, communication standards with Operations, both internal as a team and outward when collaborating with all others outside.
- Maintain your team’s monitoring driver performance/miles and asset (Trailer) requirements.
- Maintain your team’s monitoring of how they respond to driver satellite messages.
- Assisting with the development of the required driver skills i.e.: Customs, Hazmat, Hours of Service, Policy, Regulations, Satellites, etc.
- Assisting your team with solutions regarding any driver concerns.
- Assisting your team with driver inquiries - payroll, miles, etc.
- Constructively collaborate with CSRs on updating customer-centric concerns.
- Communicating and problem-solving with CSRs.
- Enforce safety procedures amongst your team - Overseeing key reports around drivers, trucks, trailers, and other PGL assets riding on the road, ensuring the highest standards in equipment safety.
- Oversee your team by analyzing transportation planning opportunities to reduce transportation costs.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations by auditing your team’s day-to-day tasks and trip reporting.
- Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and help with resolving action items.
- Involving yourself in the operations bottom line - Instating the appropriate flow and fluidity of the PGL network, not only on fronthaul and backhaul operations but also in seeking out stale assets, ensuring they produce revenue to said bottom line.
- Motivate and engage associates by focusing on team accomplishments and recognition
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and other performance standards and provide coaching and counseling to associates
- Provide relief coverage for operational duties when associates utilize time-off or are absent from the shift
- Take an active role in identifying weaknesses and strengths within the team.
- Take an active role in streamlining your team. This means input on individual performance for annual reviews.
- Determine areas that could benefit from Continuous Improvement efforts
- Conflict resolution - Dealing with difficult matters and being able to solve it quickly
- Accountable for LCV network utilization (Long Chain Vehicle):

- Assist the team by where needed, to ensure LV# assets are utilized for the full benefit of the program: Positioning where needed 7/24.
- Performs other duties as required.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years in a Dispatch/Planning or Customer Service role required.
- Exceedingly knowledgeable of North American geography.
- Experience with CVOR, NSC, and Fitness scores.
- ACE and Customs/border crossing experience an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Ideal computer literacy with Microsoft Excel and Word).
- Able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple scenarios simultaneously
- Proven analytical, and problem-solving skills.
