**Position Summary**
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
- performing disability case management and facilitating the return to work of employees who are away from work due to injury
- providing guidance, direction and assistance to employees, supervisors, administrators, insurers, health care providers and representatives of bargaining agents
- managing all employee health information in a confidential manner while complying with applicable privacy legislation
- following up on all workplace incidents
- developing, evaluating and monitoring individual return to work plans
- recommending workplace modification options
- liaising with the WCB case management team
- monitoring claims costs on an ongoing basis
- preparing for and attending appeal hearings

**Education/Qualifications**
- undergraduate degree in Disability Management or a related field
- a minimum of three years related experience
- currency with health recovery trends
- knowledge of WCB processes
- knowledge of education or public sector systems is an asset
- strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills
- excellent problem solving, consultation and communication skills

**Rate of Pay**
$46.38 - $59.27 per hour
