**Job Title: Policy Analyst / Consultant**

**Responsibilities**
- support senior consultants in their information needs and provide analytical support,
- identify information needs for problem solving and formulation of recommendations,
- conduct document and internet search on topics related to policy, practices and performance management in the health and social services sector,
- conduct jurisdictional scan and leading practice review,
- support stakeholder consultations by coordinating events, preparing content and documenting notes,
- summarize and theme information gathered through research using creative multi-format methods,
- utilize qualitative and quantitative analytical methods and tools to support value add analysis, identification of gaps and opportunities,
- support and participate in meetings with stakeholders and contribute with knowledge gained through research and personal background,
- draft reports including policies aligned with identified needs and governing legislation.

**Qualifications**:
1. educational background in a related field, a degree or certification in progress is acceptable,

2. some experience in related field, willingness and ability to learn,

3. ability to work collaboratively in a team environment including with clients and stakeholders,

4. knowledge and experience in health, community and social services is an asset

5. knowledge and experience working with Indigenous communities and empathy with Indigenous causes is an asset,

6. ability to comprehend and summarize information from multiple sources and multiple formats and communicate effectively,

7. excellent research, reading and writing skills,

8. ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

9. experience in preparing reports and presenting findings

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
