**Position Purpose and Summary**
Serving within the Centre for Calling & Career Development (CCCD), the Manager, Career Coaching works with students to ensure that every graduate is life and career ready. Reporting to the Director of the Centre for Calling & Career Development (CCCD), the Career Coach Manager is a key member of the CCCD team as they develop and deliver presentations to groups of students, create and manage programming and curriculum that facilitates career development, provide individual career coaching to students and recent alumni of Trinity Western University and execute core services of the Center for Calling & Career Development. (CCCD.)

Key Areas of Accountability*
- Creates and presents career education curriculum inside and outside of the classroom, with a particular focus on reaching students in a matter that reflects the global diversity of TWU.
- Builds strong partnerships with faculty and other campus offices to facilitate student engagement in career development and functions as a thought leader to help build a wider culture of vocational stewardship at Trinity Western.
- Facilitate and conduct one-on-one career coaching sessions with students and recent alumni.
- Thinks creatively about how to increase interactions with students and track that engagement to measure effectiveness of effort.
- Spearheads the planning and execution of career education programming as part of the CCCD’s efforts to reach all students.
- Stays informed about key employers and trends in industries applicable to students for which coach is responsible.
- In partnership with TWU Alumni builds and maintains a diverse network of Trinity Western alumni to serve as resources to students and CCCD team.
- Participates in larger Career Education initiatives including engagement with the CCCD Ambassador team to provide supervision to these students, lead Career Communities, and provide training to equip them for their role.
- Maintain active role in professional associations to remain current with employer/college trends and establish/maintain relationships with recruiters.

Standards & Requirements*
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree required; liberal arts preferred.
- Certified Leadership/Career/Life Coach desired.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of two years’ experience in the marketplace.
