**Overview**
The Gabriola Agricultural Co-op is seeking an organized, proactive **Administrator** to support the Co-op’s internal coordination, communication, and hall rental program. This role helps maintain the Co-op’s smooth operations and supports our collaborative community work.
**Key Responsibilities**
**General Administration (Approx. 4 hrs/month)**
- Weekly mail pickup and distribution
- Maintain and update community partner memberships
- Liaise with web designer; maintain Co-op website
- Maintain master membership list
- File and action B.C. Registries forms as needed
**Hall Rental Coordination (Approx. 2 hrs/month)**
- Monitor and respond to booking requests (within 3 business days)
- Maintain booking calendar and spreadsheet
- Send rental confirmations and invoices
- Liaise with maintenance and janitorial staff regarding bookings
**Qualifications**
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Familiarity with small nonprofit or co-op environments an asset
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 2 per week
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
**Language**:
- Mandarin (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Gabriola, BC
