Riviera Hotel is now seeking Revenue Manager to join our team at Vancouver/Calgary. As a Revenue Manager you need to implement revenue management strategies and processes, in order to optimize and maximize its revenues for all three hotel based at Vancouver, Calgary and Vernon. You should have the ability to successfully position properties in markets through pricing and yield management, and he/she perform analysis on price positioning, competitive set performance, and strategic planning of rate products.
- Maximize revenue generation by ensuring pricing and inventory are optimized across a portfolio using factors like demand booking tools, group pace, demand calendars and booking curves.
- Deliver effective and accurate revenue forecasting.
- Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting.
- Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.
- Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel.
- Provide periodic dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.
- Manage and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution.
- Responsible for assessing, analyzing and pricing group business strategies.
- Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.
- Continuously monitor competitor pricing and capacity and translate findings into action.
- Deliver market analysis to inform commercial strategy and decision-making
- Responsible for best practice standards to include: competitor analysis; environmental scanning; market modeling; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concept.
- Reduce the cost of distribution by finding new less expensive means of delivering business.
- Prepare outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.
- Develop dashboards and other reports/views that can be used by the finance and commercial teams for revenue forecasting and analysis.

- Well developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing and supervisory management skills.
- High level of motivation, determination and commitment.
- Effectively dealing with team members and channel managers.

**Experience & Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of hands-on Hotel Revenue Management experience.
- A strong command of both written and spoken English is required; additional languages are an asset.
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or Economic Studies.
- Highly computer literate with a high-level command of Excel.
- Knowledgeable of hotel technology: PMS, GDS, CRS, Extranets.
- Sound financial judgment and responsibility.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
