Agence Charlie is proud to collaborate with a privately held Canadian plastic manufacturer based in Cornwall.

In order to support their rapid growth, our client is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager.

The Human Resources Manager will support employees while fostering the core values of the company. This is an opportunity for a seasoned professional to build and grow the HR department, while working hand in hand with the General Manager and the President. A real possibility to implement change, while navigating the challenges that come with rapid growth.

**A glimpse into the day-to-day**:

- Develop a short, medium and long term plan for the Human Resources department;
- Optimize recruitment processes, retention efforts and the company's global compensation plan;
- Implement procedures and action plans (training plan, workforce planning, etc.);
- Establish and present KPIs for the department;
- Develop, promote and implement internal company policies;
- Implement a welcome and integration process for new employees;
- Act as a resource person for occupational health and safety.

**What our client is looking for**:

- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry;
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with continually changing priorities;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Bilingualism (French and English) would be an asset;
- Ability to travel when necessary.
