**About the job**

Apex Logistics, a leading international freight forwarder and logistics provider worldwide, is currently seeking an Ocean Freight Operation, reporting to the Operations Manager based on Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1G2

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor ocean import and export shipments, follow-up, tracking and tracing, problem identification and timely resolution;
- Interact with customers on phone; provide shipment status, customs regulations and procedures; handle customer complaints and concerns.
- Build close, strong relationships with all our customers, overseas agents and service providers;
- Complete processing of all documentation required including invoicing and import declaration if required;
- Conduct research and analysis of routes using historical data, reports and reviews
- Day to day operations to include dealing with customers, customs clearance & other reports and administration duties.
- Ensure all quality control procedures are updated and adhered to.
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years’ experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry
- Minimum relevant bachelor’s degree or college diploma
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented, strong communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluently Bilingual-English, Mandarin an asset

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
