**Summary**

Tristar Headwear is looking to hire a full-time production supervisor. The supervisor will be responsible day to day management of the production floor, managing workflow to meet deadlines, training of new staff, & overseeing quality.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing day to day production workflow of cutting, sewing and finishing
- Organizing workflow to meet deadlines and improve efficiency
- Testing new applicants on sewing floor
- Training of new hires to meet company standards
- Develop & maintain quality control standards
- Scheduling work for sub-contractors
- Discussing performance issues with staff and supporting them to improve
- Upholding and improving company culture and values
- Manage daily/weekly quotas for production
- Report to sales and management on a weekly basis

**Requirements**:

- Experience using various industrial sewing machines
- Experience in managing production staff
- 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing enviroment
- Must be able to read and write English
- Ability to work under pressure and problem solve

**Other assets (not required)**
- Ability to speak a Mandarin, Punjabi, Cantonese is not required but is considered an asset
- Experience using Microsoft office is not required but is considered an asset
- Experience with basic sewing machine repairs is considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $46,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
