Job Summary

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning/Dispatching highway loads
- Dispatching highway drivers and communicating with them via phone or satellite.
- Must know the rate per mile average in areas where you are booking loads.
- Utilizing Samsara for equipment/driver tracking.
- Capable of brokering loads.
- Proactive communication with drivers for better planning.
- Checking truck and trailer availability.
- Scheduling delivery and pick-up appointments with customers.
- Accurately entering load tenders into Fleet Manager and internal Microsoft Excel sheets.
- Communicating effectively with customers regarding load assignments and updates.
- Tracking and tracing shipments.
- Reporting service failures to the customer service department and direct manager.
- Updating trailer storage information.
- Locating equipment and updating safety information.
- Resolving service issues quickly and accurately to minimize delays.
- Monitoring yard operations and allocating driver resources to meet customer needs.

Required Skills and Abilities:

- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Ability to work in a team environment under high pressure.
- Knowledge of traffic laws.
- Excellent geographic knowledge of the relevant region.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding planning and organizational skills.
- Customer satisfaction oriented.

**Job Types**: Full-time

Pay: $3,000 to $4,000 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
