**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee site operations in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
- Collaborate with the President of Canada to develop and execute operational strategies, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency across all Eastern Canada branches.
- Act as a liaison between headquarters and branches, conducting at least two annual visits to branches in Eastern Canada.
- Guide and supervise Site Operations Managers across Eastern Canada in reviewing and managing site financials, providing monthly cost forecasts, understanding site variances, and informing stakeholders of site financial performance.
- Provide guidance and input in developing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high service quality.
- Implement performance metrics and KPIs to gauge and monitor regional operations achievements.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies and develop strategies to mitigate the impact of volume surges and capacity constraints.
- Conduct regular performance assessments, deliver constructive feedback, and address performance or disciplinary issues.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
- Swiftly address client concerns and feedback to uphold robust client relationships.
- Efficiently manage regional resources, including vehicles, equipment, and personnel, to fulfill operational demands and business goals.
- Collaborate and communicate with other Regional Operations Managers, the sales team, and the supply chain to drive growth and overall success.
- Implement best practices and standardized operating procedures to augment operational efficiency and consistency.
- Formulate business development strategies to ensure long-term success.
- Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
- Ensure safety in the workplace by conducting safety audits and observations, documenting and addressing the root cause of incidents and near misses and encouraging a safety-oriented culture throughout the facility.
**Qualifications**:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher
- Demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in last-mile logistics operations, with a minimum of 3 years as a Logistics Manager
- Proven track record in distribution and logistics management
- Strong understanding of courier and logistics operations, including last-mile delivery, express collection, fleet management, route optimization, and warehouse operations
- Exhibit exceptional aptitude for leadership and team management
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset to identify areas for optimization and make informed decisions
- Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning, coupled with excellent organizational and coordination abilities, systematic thinking, and cost-consciousness
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrates a strong ability to work effectively within a team
- Familiarity with relevant industry software, technology solutions, and logistics management systems
- Willingness to travel as needed to various branches within Western Canada

**Schedule**:
- 8 hours per day
- Monday to Friday
**Term of Employment**:
- Full-time, Permanent
**Compensation**:
- Annual salary: $110,000 - $120,000
**Vacation**:
- 4% of your annual gross salary as vacation pay and 2 weeks of vacation time per year upon completion of 12 months of consecutive employment.
