**THE ROLE (6-month contract)**

The Production Translator English/French or Spanish will be responsible for translating documents, forms, policies, training curriculum, presentations, and reports. Also, a review of documents is required to identify correct translation. The position requires that you observe production tasks and communicate with the production team. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is needed. You will also be required to travel up to 30%.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Written translations of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Forms, Policies, Training Curriculum, Presentations, Reports, and others as required from English to French/Spanish (30%)
- Review documents to identify correct translation and make changes as required. (40%)
- Observe production tasks and communicate with production team on the plant floor. (15%)
- Understand plant production materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), company jargon, processes.
- Create a glossary of words that do not translate accurately to French/Spanish
- Demonstrate integrity and adhering to highest standards of confidentiality
- Weekly online working sessions (15%)
- Work with team to identify the best English word to use for future documentation.
- Review collected data and complete documentation.
- Process training
- Work on emergency documents

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proficiency in written and spoken communication: English and French/Spanish
- Language interpretation credentials: certification, memberships, training, or work experience
- Demonstrated experience providing language interpretation.
- Attention to detail.
- Work independently and in a team setting
- Travel may be required within USA and Canada.
- Advance knowledge/Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Previous experience in Manufacturing environment
