Translator - Mandarin

Interesting job opportunity this summer

We have four technicians coming from Weifang, China to supervise the installation of an air dome that their company manufactures. We need someone on our construction site Mondays - Fridays during the time that they will be with us, to translate instructions and notes back and forth between the four technicians, as well as the site foreman and local crew.

No technical or construction experience needed, just fluency in both languages, perhaps with familiarity with the local Weifang dialect of Mandarin.

Very casual dress code and atmosphere, but with requirement to wear a hard hat and reflective vest when on site.

We are looking for someone who can commit to the schedule for at least one month starting July 15th. We want someone dependable, who shows up on time to begin the work day, and who doesn't mind being outside for extended periods (as needed). We have a construction office and washrooms on site, and much of your time can be spent in doors on an as-needed basis.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

- Weekends as needed
