The location in Richmond, (British Columbia, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of **Accounting technician**. This job is full-time permanent.

The Finance team has an immediate opening for an Accounting Technician. Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, this dynamic position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of commercial invoices, pricing updates in ERP system, and rebate / commission payments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Understanding of products and business rules to ensure accurate price updates for timely invoicing
- Maintaining accurate records of pricing updates and billing transactions
- Handling invoicing queries and resolving pricing discrepancies
- Managing rebate and commission programs in ERP system - including program set up, reconciling accruals and processing payments
- Preparing month-end journal entries and reports
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

- Finance: Pricing, Invoicing, Gross to Net Sales, and related provisions must be accurate and timely.
- Rebates: Rebates payments must be properly validated prior to processing.

- Minimum 3 years working experience in Finance or Accounting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities required to prioritize a high volume of tasks or competing priorities
- Proficient computer skills, knowledge of MS Office. Advance skills in Excel & Outlook are a must.
- Knowledge of SAP is a strong asset
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in highly time-sensitive environment
