Accounting Technician

We are a well-established public accounting firm located in Richmond with a diverse base of clients and wide spectrum of services. Currently we have an opening for an Accounting Technician on our team. This is a permanent position with opportunities for growth to work on more complex engagements for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

- Bookkeeping with Sage 50, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Excel

- Bank reconciliations

- Accounts payables and processing cheque runs

- Preparing and filing GST & PST returns

- Payroll administration, including payroll remittances

- Ad hoc duties as required (i.e. investment bookkeeping)

Qualifications and characteristics:

- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online/Sage 50 is an asset

- Strong interest to learn and work hard

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent verbal and communication skills

- Works well under pressure

- Working knowledge of Cantonese and Mandarin is an asset
