ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN REQUIRED

Yale PGC, LLP Chartered Professional Accountants, located in Richmond Hill, is looking to hire a full-time person.

Qualifications:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- University of college degree in a related field
- Experience working as part of an accounting firm
- Understanding of standard accounting procedures
- Proficiency with MS Office (word, Excel & Outlook) & ability to learn new systems with ease.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of the accounting cycle and CaseWare is an asset.
- Fluency in English (verbal & written) with strong communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform audit-related duties as assigned
- Assist with turning over new year-end files
- Assist with scanning back-up documents for personal taxes
- Performing any additional tasks as needed

General Expectations:

- Strong team player but able to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent client service
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and changing environment
