Form & Affect is a creative agency located in the heart of Ontario's Niagara Region. We execute specialized strategies and creative campaigns for clients ranging from small local start-ups to established national brands. Looking to do work that makes a difference? Our agency needs an inspired and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our close-knit team of designers, developers, strategists and storytellers on a 16-month parental leave contract.

As a polished communicator with a passion for building digital strategies, experience managing clients’ social media, and a sound grasp of the latest trends and tactics, you’ll play a critical role in a small-yet-prolific agency that’s crazy about quality.

**Responsibilities**
- Research, plan, develop, manage and lead digital marketing plans that effectively build strong brands for multiple clients using proven processes and tactics;
- Provide expert social media management on an ongoing basis for multiple clients across a variety of industries with detailed communication plans and social media content calendars;
- Develop a deep understanding of client brands and ensure all tactics and communications adhere to established standards and guidelines;
- Glean insights from research, campaign results, public feedback and analytics and use them to improve the client’s marketing efforts;
- Optimize client website content, local business listings and social channels;
- Identify trends and insights to optimize all marketing efforts;
- Ensure recommendations are effective, delivered on strategy, on time, and within scope;
- Communicate proactively, professionally and responsively with clients;
- Contribute to a positive and productive team culture;
- Act as a brand evangelist for the agency, embodying and leveraging our core beliefs and differentiating perspectives.

**Skills and Experience**
- A degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, PR or a related field;
- 2+ years managing multiple B2B/B2C marketing/social media accounts;
- Powerful writing and editing skills with experience optimizing content for individual platforms and audiences;
- Experience managing paid social media and digital marketing campaigns;
- Intermediate graphic design skills using Adobe/Affinity Suites;
- Exceptional ability to plan, prepare and deliver outstanding client strategies;
- Deep understanding of traditional and digital marketing communications;
- Comprehensive knowledge of technological, cultural and media trends;
- Highly creative and an excellent judge of creative work - passionate about design, advertising, marketing and communications;
- Excellent at packaging complex information in clear, concise and impactful ways.

**Nice-to-haves**
- Experience with brand positioning, audience personas, target markets etc.;
- Design-related credentials/diploma;
- A solid design portfolio;
- English/French bi-lingual;
- Crisis communication training or experience;
- Customer service, PR or communications background;
- Certifications in digital marketing from Facebook/Google.
