**Accounting/Purchasing Administrative Assistant**

Valuemed is a healthcare distribution company located in West Edmonton. We are currently seeking a part time Administrative Assistant to join our team. The hours for this position will be Monday to Friday 8am to 12pm.

Our continued growth requires the addition of an administrative assistant to work primarily with our accounting and purchasing departments. We are looking for a skilled individual who is excited to use and improve their skills.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
Day to Day responsibilities of this role may include, but not be limited to:

- AR Invoicing and payment processing
- Posting deposits, AP invoices, & reconciling statements
- Data Entry
- Customer account set up
- Processing credit memos and refunds
- Assist in investigating discrepancies between purchase orders, confirmations, vendor invoices, and receiving’s.
- Assist in answering product inquiries. Example: lead times, availability, costs.
- Follow up with vendors regarding PO expected dates
- Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year accounts payable or accounts receivable experience
- Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Prior experience with accounting software is preferred
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- A post secondary diploma in business is an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
