**Position Tasks & Activities**

We have an immediate opening for a Parts Advisor for Heavy Trucks. We are looking for an energetic self-starter who enjoys a team environment.
- Ordering parts for technicians, customers and regular stock
- All inventory tracking, shipping and receiving
- Parts returns, core tracking/returns
- Maintenance of stock room
- Annual inventory count
- Occasional parts pick up and/or delivery
- Adherence to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form
- Comply with government safety requirements, PPE and other regulations and security

**Skills and requirements**:

- Must be mechanically inclined and have experience working in a Heavy Truck parts environment, dealing with different makes of trucks and have advanced understanding of heavy truck parts (Class 3-8 vehicle knowledge)
- Must have a good understanding of parts operations, including procurement, orders/back-orders and core handling
- Capable of lifting up to 70lbs
- Willingness to learn and take control of your duties
- Strong communication skills - able to deal professionally with co-workers, suppliers and customers
- Multi-tasking a must - fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and/or view computer screen for up to 8 hours per shift
- Must speak English clearly and write legibly
- Valid and clean driver’s abstract

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

To keep our employees safe we have acrylic barriers in the office and no outsider admittance to the shop or warehouse. For customers, face coverings are required, hand sanitizer is provided and surfaces are regularly disinfected.
