We are currently seeking a dedicated Full-time Storage Specialist (5 days per week approx.) to join our team in Victoria (Langford).

**Job Summary** As a Storage Specialist, you will be the face of The Storage Room, ensuring our customers receive the best service while enjoying the convenience of modern storage solutions. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in customer service and sales, offering a dynamic work environment with a competitive compensation package.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs, recommending suitable storage solutions, and facilitating their acquisition.
- Assist both reservation and walk-in customers, both in-person and over the phone, in renting storage units, explaining lease terms, fees, and completing lease agreements.
- Consult with customers to sell and upsell merchandise such as boxes, tape, and other relevant products to meet their needs.
- Maintain the property's appearance, ensuring it is customer-ready through tasks like cleaning units, sweeping, mopping, debris removal, and window cleaning to create a safe and welcoming environment.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Handle collections from delinquent customer accounts.
- Manage and maintain a cash drawer, including daily deposits.
- Prepare and generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
- Conduct daily physical inspections of storage units, verifying inventory availability and ensuring unit security and readiness for rental.
- Collaborate closely with the Manager to receive training and coaching, aiming to surpass company expectations.

- A minimum of two to three years of Customer Service and/or Sales experience.
- An energetic, outgoing, and customer-oriented personality.
- Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficient time management abilities.
- Proficiency with computers in a Windows environment, including Excel and Word.
- Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends.
- Willingness and ability to perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning and general property maintenance.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
