**Job Description**:
**_ This posting is for an expression of interest for a Journeyperson Pipefitter f_**

**What would you be doing?**
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
- Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
- Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
- Maintain and repair piping systems.

**Does this sound like you?**
- Journeyperson Pipefitter certificate (Red Seal certificate, if out of province)
- Valid and up-to-date tickets:CSTS,First Aid, WHMIS
- Enjoy a varied workload.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in English verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Physically able to perform all necessary duties of the job (i.e. lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, etc).

**Perks of the job**
- Monday to Friday Schedule
- Benefits after 300 hours of work.
- Overtime Available
- Hourly rate of $38/hr

**Other important details**
- This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of mask fit, drug and alcohol testing._
