**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of piping systems.
- Measure and cut pipes using various tools to ensure proper fit before installation.
- Join pipes using welding, soldering, or adhesive techniques ensuring leak-proof connections.
- Inspect and test piping systems for safety and performance, adjusting as necessary.
- Collaborate with other trades professionals to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Follow all safety protocol, policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Journeyperson will mentor apprentices.

**Requirements and Experience**
- Must be Indentured in a Provincial apprenticeship program.
- **Experience with rigging/Victaulic/threading pipe/soldering/ working with welders**:

- **Understands cross contamination of SST materials**:

- WHMIS 2015 Certificate
- Working at Heights - In Class
- Elevated Work Platform - In class
- Confined Space - In Class
- Experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial construction environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
- Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.

**Project: Red River WWTP**

**Location: Winnipeg**

**Schedule: 5x2**

**Rate: $37.62 per hour - $42.32 per hour**
