As the Content Writer, you’ll play a key role in our dynamic marketing team to develop a variety of different content pieces to help educate the market on the solutions and value that our offer provides.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Craft offer(s) to the marketplace that are coherent with the product strategy and convey marginal value
- Intimately know the product offering and value propositions
- Memorize and maintain the story we tell the market, and update as needed
- Intimately know the concerns of the buyers (personas) in our industry
- Fact-checking, interviewing sources, and analyzing information prior to publication
- Proof and edit content produced by other team members as required
- Adjust content for various mediums to meet targeted goals (drive call to actions, maximize SEO success, engage interest, etc.)
- Collaborate with other colleagues and departments to produce informative, high-quality content
- Conduct market research on consumer requirements, habits, and trends
- Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing content and strategies
- Stay up to date on industry trends

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Has proven accomplishments in effective storytelling to generate a market
- Experience in writing Middle-of-Funnel website pages that led to conversions
- Is meticulous in writing practices
- Can demonstrate writing in different styles and/or embody certain personas or characteristics
- Can demonstrate and is effective at explaining complex ideas
- At least 3+ years of experience as a content creator/writer
- Knowledge of, or experience within, the construction and service industry
- Experience writing for a B2B software/service
- Experience in writing various types of content - blogs, product pages, industry pages, role pages, social media posts, case studies, whitepapers, ads, and video storyboards. Please mention any additional content you’ve written.
- Experience in developing interview questions, interviewing businesses, and writing case studies
- Experience in first-hand research (ex: questionnaires and surveys) for the purpose of developing content
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of content marketing, content growth, keyword research/analysis and SEO
- Is comfortable conversing objectively about, and critiquing your work
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage commitments effectively and wisely
- A desire to continuously learn and grow in your role
- A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to craft compelling and informative content
