**Assistant Production Manager**

We are actively looking to expand our dynamic and creative team by bringing on an **Assistant Production Manager.** We are looking for a full-time experienced **Assistant Production Manager** that is eager to grow and evolve within the organization with plenty of opportunity for development and advancement.

In addition to possessing a solid background in a large-format production environment, applicants should have excellent communication skills. Basic math and computer skills are a must, and any additional technical skills and software experience is an asset.

**Principal Responsibilities Include**:

- Lead the end-to-end production/manufacturing process, including production execution & planning, scheduling, workflow managing, and quality control to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
- Operating Production Equipment - large format roll-to-roll & flatbed printers, cutters, plotters and laminators.
- Aiding the production staff with meeting deadlines by helping hands-on with printing, production, assembly, finishing, and packing.
- Troubleshooting equipment & mechanical malfunctions
- Assess work orders as they come in from the art department ensuring all information and data is correct, then circulate dockets to the corresponding departments/presses.
- Restocking supplies and managing Inventory.
- Assist General manager in compiling data for operational budgets, inventory, ensuring cost-effective use of staff resources while meeting production goals.
- Ensure staffing levels are optimized for production needs, adjusting resources as necessary during peak demand periods.
- Provide accurate reporting daily, and monthly while continuously achieving daily/weekly/monthly production expectations based on the annual budget set out for the year.
- Work closely with the installation coordinator to ensure work orders are completed on time for booking dates.
- Organize and hold daily production huddle meetings for the team to go through priorities of the day, and announce important information to the team.
- Attend daily production meetings with CSRs and leadership to discuss production schedule, and important updates/information.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Basic Math and Computer Skills
- Understanding of colour management and quality control
- Attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task
- Ability to self-manage in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a professional team atmosphere
- Minimum 4 years experience in operating wide-format printers and other types of equipment for a commercial signage/large-format company, and comparable production experience.
- Extensive knowledge of industry substrates and materials

**Schedule**:

- 8 Hour Shift (Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines, accommodate special events, or address business needs. Flexibility during these times is appreciated.)

Pay: $45,938.11-$70,000.00 per year
