Smithbilt Hats Inc. is hiring for a **Production Assistant** to join the team

Since 1919, Smithbilt Hats Inc. has been handcrafting custom western hats and fedoras in Calgary and has been home to the infamous White Hat. **As a Production Assistant, you will be accountable for**:

- Knowledge and experience working on a fabrication floor is an asset.
- Previous work in a production setting an asset.
- Self-motivated and driven to help fulfill deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
- Works well in a team environment, takes direction from production manager
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work a rotation that includes production floor and time on the company salesfloor
- Other duties as assigned

**To be successful in this role, you must have**:

- Experience with heavy equipment an asset
- Retail sales an asset
- Ability to work well independently or in a team environment
- High attention to detail
- Highly motivated individual with good interpersonal skills
