About the Job:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and operations of Atira. The CFO provides strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board of Directors with respect to the plans and operations of Atira. The CFO is responsible of overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. This position requires a strong leader who can work collaboratively with the executive team and the board of directors to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.

Qualifications:

- You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field, supplemented with minimum seven (7) years' recent, related progressive supervisory and management experience in a similar-sized organization and environment.
- A Chartered Professional Accountant designation, as well as a member in good standing with Chartered Professional Accountants Canada.
- Oganized and strong leader, impeccable communication skills, and skilled team player.

Additional Requisites/Assets:

- Lived expertise is an asset, as is living in the community in which you work.
- You must have legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Covid-19 and annual flu vaccinations are recommended, unless become required by BC’s public health authority.
