- Pride Group Logistics Ltd. has a new opportunity for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our asset-based team at our location in _**Brantford.**_
- This is a salaried full-time _**Monday to Friday**_ _position with steady year-round work._
- **Shift: 8:30 AM - 5 PM**_

- **Responsibilities**:_
- _Provide and support service requirements of all assigned clients within a region._
- _Receive incoming telephone calls from customers, administrative and operations staff_
- _Trace customers shipments and provide timely updates as required_
- _Assist, investigate and correct customer issues and order delays with appropriate solutions/alternatives and follow-up._
- _Proactively communicate with dispatchers to avoid undesirable outcomes_
- _Develop and maintain relationships with customers_
- _Facilitate pickup and delivery appointments for every customer shipment_
- _Input all relevant data for each freight movement into the computer system (TMS)_
- _Various administrative duties as assigned by operations_
- _Updating customer on-line portals daily, as required_
- **Requirements**:_
- _Preferred: 2 years of experience working in the transportation industry_
- _High school diploma or GED or a solid and comparative experience, working in a customer service role_
- _Energetic and positive nature, being able to manage many tasks at once_
- _A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail_
- _Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills_
- _Ability to work independently and as a team member_
- _Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Word, etc._

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brantford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Call center: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
