The Iconic Elements Content Creator will research, create, and communicate engaging stories using video, photography, and graphics following industry best practices. In this role, you will work with a tight-knit sales and marketing team to create visual narratives that convey the strength of our brand and the features and benefits of our products. You will be responsible for creating digital and physical content that engages, captivates, and educates our customers, dealers, and team-members. In this role, you will report to the Marketing Manager and Ownership Partners.
After a 3-month probationary period, full-time employment at Iconic includes: 10 vacation days, 10 paid stat holidays, company paid family benefits.
**Experience**:
- 1-3 years of photography experience (professional or otherwise) and/or;
- 1-3 years of videography experience (professional or otherwise).
- 1-5 years of active social media use, ideally for commercial purposes.
- Must include: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & YouTube
**Responsibilities**:
- Capture engaging, on-brand visual content (video and images) of uninstalled and installed products in shop and off-site (non-studio) settings.
- Drive the content production lifecycle from pre-production, production, and post-production to final asset delivery.
- Execute shoots; organize or execute post-production, including managing external vendors as required. Some minor, mostly local, travel may be required.
- Comfortable behind or infront of the camera.
- Demonstrate knowledge of advanced editing and retouching techniques using industry and technology standards.
- Work with management to plan content.
- Support marketing initiatives with videos, photos, and graphics.
- Managing assets and keeping them organized.
- Creating multiple versions of videos and images for different digital platforms.
- Maintain high quality and consistency guidelines while following our visual brand guidelines and objectives.
- Work closely with sales and marketing departments to ensure smooth flow of the content and asset delivery schedules.
- Conceptualize and create graphics for marketing materials (digital, print, apparel, etc), websites, and social media platforms.
- On occasion, write and publish text content for websites, blogs, and/or social media.
- Stay up-to-date on latest design and social media trends.
- Present ideas, concepts, plans and final assets to fellow team members.
- Juggle multiple products at once, prioritizing as required.
**Competencies**:
- Adobe CS graphic design software: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, and more.
- Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube).
- MailChimp.
- Able to write long or short form copy in English.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team player interested in working in a positive, productive environment.
- Not afraid to share ideas or opinions.
- Able to work independently or as part of a group.
- Committed to being at work, on time, every day.
**Assets**:
- Digital ad/marketing experience, including any of the following: Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Google/YouTube or others.
- Illustration.
- Fluent in French and/or Spanish
- Interest in all things truck or automotive.
- Interest in manufacturing.
