**Overview**:
The social media coordinator will report to the Marketing Director, and be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of all social media accounts. They will help create and distribute content optimized for our social media platforms and support the work of the web/ marketing team in the planning, development, execution and evaluation of the social media content and strategies to enhance our social engagement, reach and brand awareness.

**Responsibilities**:

- This is an in-office position (not work from home/ remote)
- Plan, develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate social content for social media platforms
- Manage all social media properties - TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube and more
- Write, edit, manage and schedule social media related content
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm on a variety of topics for marketing team
- Create unique and exciting content for social media accounts and website
- Experience in editing visual assets (e.g. Videos, Photography, etc) for social media is a must
- Develop and manage the social media content calendar and work in collaboration with web team and store locations to ensure content reflects and supports key initiatives/campaigns
- Develop and manage social campaigns in collaboration with other web team
- Visit store locations to film and photograph as needed
- Perform research and competitive analysis
- Work with team to develop and execute a plan for social growth
- Manage and contribute to a library of shared content
- Remain current on issues, trends, technologies, demands and approaches in digital marketing to determine and advise on implementing new initiatives as applicable
- Ensure company branding standards are maintained and that messaging and style guidelines are consistent in all social media communications

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or equivalent education/ experience in communications, marketing, video, photography, media studies, advertising, business.
- 3+ years of social media management experience
- Proven design experience in creative design software, videography/editing, photography and digital content creation
- Skilled writer and editor
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of online communities and social media platforms
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format; and build and maintain internal and external relationships
- A tactical, self-starter that can work under mínimal supervision and take initiative
- Skilled in managing programs and projects to meet deadlines
- Familiarity/ expertise with social media management platforms
- Keen sense of responsive client service
- Must work well within a team setting and exhibit positive attitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-18 months
