**Who are we looking for**:
We are looking for a part-time Accounting Intern to join the A-team. The Accounting Intern will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for owning important internal accounting processes, procedures and collaborate with all departments across Apollo. This is a great learning opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in a fun and innovative environment.

**Here's what you will be doing**:

- Assist the Director of Finance in preparation and maintenance of the financial model and monthly budget-to-actuals analysis.
- Maintains and records all incoming invoices and payments received and the status of each transaction within the processing system.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and approvals are received in accordance with internal accounting policies prior to processing payments.
- Oversee cash usage by managing functions like accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure that the accounting policies and practices in place are scalable as the company continues to grow.
- Prepare monthly GST-QST remittances; ensure compliance with sales tax and financial reporting requirements.

**Job Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of a university program with focus in Accounting.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Understanding of e-commerce business models an asset.
- Interest in obtaining CPA designation.
