**Your day to day activities will include**:
- Provide guidance and coaching to leadership on employee relations matters such as performance management, career development & resource planning, and conflict resolution
- Assist management with collective agreement administration and interpretation, including grievance investigation and resolution
- Provide coaching to all levels of employees and management regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Participate in HR related projects and initiatives, including policy development, communications, and training
- Identify and evaluate changes in industry practices and business trends, and capitalize on opportunities that will improve the company’s competitive advantage
- Support our leaves of absence management program along with employees and managers throughout the leaves process
- Conduct culture checks and investigations where required
- Provide business partner support by anticipating client group requirements and providing high quality customer service in a timely and accurate manner to managers and employees
- University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources or a related field
3-5 years Human Resources experience in a Generalist role
- Prior experience in manufacturing, operations, or agriculture is required
- Previous experience in labour relations would be an asset
- Must be competent using Microsoft Office Applications including advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint; must be comfortable hosting and participating in video conferencing
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to research, recommend and communicate viable solutions to complex issues
- Must be flexible in your ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances, having a high tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty as business conditions change
- Independent thinking and the ability to predict the impact of decisions on the business
