**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and execute engaging group and one-on-one activities tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Foster social interaction and inclusion among residents, encouraging participation and building confidence.
- Collaborate with the Director of Program & Support Services to develop and implement recreational interventions that address residents' needs and interests.
- Document resident attendance, participation, reactions, and progress to ensure individualized care and support.
- Provide instruction in relaxation techniques, exercise routines, and other recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma/Degree in Recreation or a related health sciences field preferred (e.g., Gerontology, Social Service Worker, Kinesiology).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in social or recreation programs preferred.
- Ability to identify innovative methods to incorporate recreation into programming for residents.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly disposition and enthusiasm for working with diverse populations.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Understanding of patient/client safety procedures and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Pay: From $21.80 per hour
